Short Biography

Savica Pop Toneva is a Managing Director of Httpool office in Skopje, where she works as Director from the opening of the company in 2005.

As a scholar of National Democratic Institute she had the opportunity to see closely the work of the Macedonian Parliament in the period 2000-2002.

Her professional engagement began in 2002 as a loan officer for the project of the German-Macedonian Fund for micro-lending in Tutunska Banka.
Her career continued in the marketing agency Ovation BBDO as Account Executive, where her main duties were associated with development of complete marketing strategy for clients (Zito Luks, Macedonian Telecommunications) organizing press conferences and events, planning of marketing budgets, ATL and BTL activities.

The ability to work in the German Parliament as an Intern of the Bundestag in German MP's office allowed her to enrich the experience and to get to know with the functioning of legislature in Germany. During her stay in Germany she attended numerous trainings and seminars in different areas: communication skills, market economy on the example of Germany, minorities and their rights, the European Union.

The one-year work in Macedonian Telecom in the period 2004/2005 in the International Carriers Department as Settlement manager of international operators gave a new dimension to her career. Preparation of monthly Income statements and estimations of the costs of international traffic, as well as the calculations conducted by ITU Recommendations brought her to the current position in the Internet Marketing Agency HTTPOOL.

She is also a President of IAB office in Macedonia.

She is a frequent lecturer at various workshops, trainings and seminars, sharing her experience in the field of internet marketing, social networking and new media.
