The e-Democracy Conference 2013

Since 2010, the e-Democracy Conference has grown to become the leading e-Democracy event in the region. As much as we are proud of the success of the previous conferences, we have become even more eager to continue the tradition and spread the e-Democracy cause in the region.

In the past years we have been brought together by a common goal: to create and develop a knowledge sharing platform that would allow exchange of regional experiences and best practices in the field of e-Democracy, at the same time presenting what we know best, state-of-the-art ICT solutions that empower e-Democracy.

Followed by the success of the past three conferences and the significant impact on the enhancement of the democratic processes in the region, this year again, on the shore of the unique Ohrid Lake, we will gather the information society leaders from the region, with a mission to inspire and motivate them into embracing the challenges of e-Democracy. The fourth e-Democracy Conference will be held from 29 September – 01 October 2013.

Based on the remarkable collaboration between government, business and civil society, we will provide a unique opportunity for an interactive forum and productive discussions where participants can exchange knowledge, experiences and best practices regarding e-Democracy concepts in the region.

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?

- We will present new and inspiring technical solutions and ideas that can improve the effectiveness of public organizations and increase citizens’ participation in the public decision-making processes.
- Some of the most prominent and respected regional policy makers and leading experts on e-Democracy will share valuable insights on e-Democracy trends and current issues.
- Our conference partners, members of the International development and support organizations, will present their programs, practices and support for strengthening democratic institutions and promoting citizen participation, openness and accountability in government.
- Excellent networking events by the beautiful Ohrid Lake.
